Humidor advice.

I have both a desktop (25 ct.) and a larger (150-200 ct.) humidor. Lately I've been wanting something to store boxes. I've been checking out the DIY coolidor and Vinotemp threads, with something along those lines in mind. The Vinotemp is more aesthetically to my eye, but it seems the price for the 28-bottle model seems to have risen to @ $400 everywhere I've seen on the net.

I don't really want to spend that kind of money on a unit that I will be converting myself, as a lot of larger humidors can be purchased for that price range.

Am I spacing somewhere? Anyone know of anywhere I can find a cheaper Vinotemp (I've checked eBay and the local Craigslist)?

Re: Humidor advice.

You can find them at Sams Club. Any of the big stores like Walmart usually has them on sale from time to time.

I'll echo watching Walmart. Also, Target has them once in a while.

If you're looking at non-vinotemp humidors with large capacity there are a few places to get good humidors for relatively cheap, even for units holding upwards of 300 sticks. Try
Cheap Humidors Cigar Humidor Cigar Accessories CheapHumidors.com
Cigars, Humidors, and Cigar Humidor Accessories at Tampa Humidor

Both have some great deals on quality humidors, and sometimes have even better deals on imperfects. Try searching around a little on the forum. There's lots of good info on both sites, as well as individual member's reviews on individual humidors.

Alright, I'll have to stop by the stores I suppose. I didn't see any listed on either of their websites.

Here's another brand of wine cooler you could look at, about $200.00 delivered.
