Crystal Gel Humidity Beads
Hi all,
I was looking at the CI Crystal Gel Humidity Beads. Humidity in my humidor is a bit high, so I was wondering if this product would lover the humidity? Should I just go with Hearfelt beads? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks |

Re: Crystal Gel Humidity Beads
I am using mine in sort of a "push/pull" manner. I have Heartfelt 70% tubes on the top and bottom and a 65% gel jar in the middle. I only charge the gel and I stay right at 66-67%. One thing that really helps me is that my humi stays pretty close to capacity most of the time.

Re: Crystal Gel Humidity Beads
Nope, those are acrylic crystals. They do work about the same, but they need to be charged with PG solution (according to xikar.com) and I find that they don't work quite as well as silica beads.
