I have humidor that holds approx. 100 cigars. I have the beads 6oz tube in there to control the himidity. Is there anyone out there who can tell me how to keep the temperature lower than 80 deg.?

I would suggest to keep it out of the direct sunlight and don't store it up high on a shelf (heat rises to the ceiling). Those are a couple of reasons that would make the temp that high. Good luck, I hope I helped.

Try putting it in the basement, provided you have a basement.

Find the coolest place in your house and put it there. Take your thermometer out of the humi (assuming you dont have another) and set in several places you think might be the coolest. As said, lower is a little better. Otherwise, all you can do is keep the AC down.

I had this problem for a while in college. my solution wasnt bad, I would have a large tuperware container full of water, freeze it, then wrapp it in a towel and place it on the humidor then lay aluminum foil and another white towel over the iced towel and humi to contain the cooler air it worked too well actually, it worked for the entire day , and sometimes got pretty cold so you may need to experiment with wrapping the ice and the covering thicknesses.
