Vinotemp running 24/7

So I have the 12 bottle dual zone vinotemp. My question is, are these supposed to run 24/7? I ask the question because I put it in my room and when I turn my A/C the room will get pretty cold. The temperature will be around 58-60 reading on the vino and eventhough it is set at 66, and it still is running.

I know I have read that people say theirs turn on and off when it reaches desired temperatures. Thanks in advance.

Do you hear a little relay click every now and again?
Try opening the door listen for the relay click, then close the door and wait for the relay click..if you hear the first and second relay click you are Good!
I have the same type, the fan runs 24/7 but the cooler does not. The fan running all the time is good..allows air to circulate all the time.( it should not, but it dose not hurt,small fan not too much power consumption)..see the guys who designed it did not do a really good job with the PID loop circuity ...so its always unstable around the set point.....there should also be a light, if its green the cooler circuit is on..if red its off...IF the fan running all the time is a problem a quick fix is to buy a timer from your hardware store and plug the vino into it then plug in the timer.(you know the one for c-mas lights) set it to be on every half hour, that will fix the problem and cut your energy costs.
Also you may wanna watch for condensation around the heat sink on the inside of the cooler, on hot days water will build up on and around the heat sink..this will blast your internal humidity sky high. Wipe it out every few days to a week.
