Now to my next question. Is there any way to control the tempature in this thing? It is staying steady at 72-76 degrees. From what I have read on here this is not good. I do not want to have any trouble with beatles. I really need to keep the temp down. Any suggestions?
I know what you mean: I found these buggers crawling around in my singles drawer
(sorry, I couldn't resist)
If you can move your cooler to a basement floor it helps a lot. Other than freezer packs which could add moisture due to sweating as they thaw (bad) your only choice might be to jump stright to a vinotemp fridge or other thermo-electric cooled storage.

You can store the cooler in a dark closet.

Re: Coolidor question

There is no way that I can afford the Vinotemp right now, maybe in the future.
I will try the dark closet and see how that works. Otherwise I have no clue what to do.

Yes. Stop worrying unless the temp hovers closer to 80.
