Travel Humi... Mexico or Bust

Headin south to Mexico in November and would like to take some sticks along for the ride. Anyone have any suggestions for a good travel humi. I have heard that the Cigar Caddy is top notch. Anyone have experience with it?

Re: Travel Humi... Mexico or Bust

I'm on vacation right now in Maui and I am very happy with my 15 count Cigar Caddy. The only gripe that I have is that when I'm trying to make up my mind on what to smoke, I gotta take each of the layers out of the box to look at them all. Otherwise, it fits well in my carry on bag, keeps the stogies from getting crushed, and keeps them fresh so I'm happy...

Did you bring a cutter with you. ? No problems or you just got some cheap ones at the airport when you landed? I have had them confiscated on non military flights.
Much regards Jerry

Good point about the cutter. We like to travel light with carry on only and I would not want to lose my Xikar. Will probably just buy "El Cheapo" (that's Spanish for inexpensive) cutter in Mexico.

I didn't want to take chances so I left the palio at home and brought a wolf vcutter and kept it in the check in. No problems with it so far after 3 trips on different airlines.

I have a bullet cutter(one that doesnt look like a bullet, but more like a lipstick case) on my keychain for when I fly. I put a few aspirins in it(I make sure they are like bayer or something , someone looking at it could identifyl)
I tell them its a pill holder, for when I get migraines. They have no idea its a cigar cutter, because it doesnt look sharp.
Much regards Jerry
