I'm a convert to the Wolf V cutter. I absolutely love this thing! You can find them on ebay for around $15 shipped.

I use a Palio cutter, it's great. They start around $35.

Palio, had mine for a couple of years and cut several hundred cigars. Still going strong.

Re: My Cutter sux. Any recommendations

I would suggest you get many.

Different cuts will effect the smoking expeirence. Plus you will lose some and not be able find others during emergency smoking situations.

I would suggest you get (in order)

1. Palio
2. Xikar punch
3. Wolf V Cutter
4. Scissors (I like the Xikar multi tool - still looking for a used Davidoff set)
5. Xikar cutter

and don't stop there. You spend 100 $s on cigars you should be willing to spend to get a good cut on them to enjoy them properly

Re: My Cutter sux. Any recommendations

I own five Xikar cutters and I love them. I also have a Wolf V-Cutter, a burlwood Palio and my original cutter, which is 10 years and still sharp, a Zino.

I also own three different punches....bottom line, try and buy them all.....your cigars deserve it and so do you!

I agree but with a little modification.

1. Palio
2. Xikar cutter
3. Wolf V cutter
4. Xikar Punch

I like the Wolf but there are some cigars that don't work well with v cuts, the palio and xikar will work with every cigar and they are the best of the best. the Wolf is a fun cut and very nice for cigars with an easy draw. plus for 10-15 bucks for a german made cutter you cant go wrong.
