Are you talking about the 5 burner model? If so, I think it may be a little overkill. Constant re-filling and a bit too much heat in my opinion. You can really mess up a wrapper with that kind of power.

There's a fairly recent post from a guy who had one for a couple of months before its' flame resembled a Bic lighter. Not sure if his experience is the the exception or the norm.

I have the 5 Flame "RP" (made by "Magic") and also a 3 Flame, no "RP" on outside also by "Magic" and have had no trouble with either, like them a lot, they are my primary torches. The 5 Flame you gotta be careful, but for anything 50 Ring or bigger it works very well. $60 & $29 respectively. Both from Thompson, available elsewhere also.
