Is there such a beast? Or are the digital ones the way to go for real accuracy?
I really like the way the analog looks but Im so OCD, I worry its not all that accurate... (The one I have reads 60% when its really at 70%) ... although it does stay at that number all the time (drops when I open the box and recovers quickly, so its probably "accurate" as long as I add 10% to the number it shows)... I don't think it was adjustable, I may have to look again...
Also, for calibrating a new Hygrometer... I bought the Boveda one step calibration pack, and since its been sitting on the shelf with the humidity pack in it for like.. a month, a Hygrometer would get a pretty accurate read quickly, wouldn't it? Or does it still need to stay in the bag for 30+ hours?
Im pretty sure Im safe as far as the RH goes, I have a small Humidor, and I use the boveda packs (they seemed the most "foolproof" when I was got the Humidor, and Foolproof is what I needed)
