New Smokes

Just purchased my first humidor at cheaphumidors. It hasnt came yet but I have several cigars that I also purchased on line that have arrived. Is it best to keep the cigars in the package they came in until i can get my humidor up and running?

Re: New Smokes

I would either put them in a tuperware bowl sealed with a humi pack or go to the B&M and get a humi bag.

Don't leave them in the box they were shipped in, they will dry out.

Hope that helps

Re: New Smokes

Remember to season that humi before putting your cigars in it.

Re: New Smokes

Congrats on your new humidor purchase. If your cigars are cello wrapped, keep the cello on and put them in a plastic container with lid. If they will be there long you can add a small damp cloth or sponge. Try to find a dark and cool spot for them too.

Just in case you didn't know use distilled water to dampen the cloth or sponge.
