    Cigar Cutter--Large Ring Size

I really enjoy the larger ring size cigars (60 ring or so)...like the Oliva Serie V Double Toro. I also love the Xikar double blade cutters, but they max out at a 54 ring.
    Any suggestions?

I like using a Wolf V-Cut. I cut twice in the shape of a cross and it works well for me for 60 rg.

I agree with Jake, go with a punch on the larger smokes.

Xikar X8 cuts a 64rg I think. I know for sure it cuts 60rg, it's what I'm using and it works great

I agree, try the Wolf V-cut or a punch for the larger RG cigars!

    +1 for punch
I generally smoke larger RG's and found a punch much easier than using a cutter.

How's the tar build up? I use to do that, but was getting a lot more tar build up around the opening.

Lately, been using the V cutter like Cypress does. He does a cross to get a better draw, I do it to keep evil away....

IMO that Colibri isn't even worth $5 tore my cigars to shreds. OP if you go with a guillotine grab the Xikar X8 or I believe the Palio cutters can go up to a 60rg. Most swear by their Palio's...

Cuban Crafters Perfect Cut will do a 60 RG perfectly. The ad says 54, but 60 is NP...

I have never had a cigar with tar build up. Maybe because I smoke robustos and other things like Nubs (3.7x60) and they are a shorter smoke?

Last time I had it happen was on a Toro length smoke. Looked like dark chocolate was coming out of the opening. Didn't taste like Chocolate either....

Chocolate infused cigar. sounds like an Acid

Im pretty sure tar is a product of high RH, low time smoked, baccy not being dried enough before rolling, and/or mostly just plain ol' bad luck.
I guess i have been lucky thus far, maybe the tar demons wont get me
