Tight sealing Tuper-dor
Stumbled on a Lock&Lock container today that locks down and seals just about as airtight as you will get a plastic fit. Product called Lock & Lock
http://www.heritagemint.com/jump.jsp...1%2C2%2C7%2C54 This is the distributors site, I found a small one in the local supermarket and figured to give it a try. odered a tube of 65% beads from Viper last night to replace the home brew device I have now. Seals very well, now it's time for a larger one LOL.... Bud |

Re: Tight sealing Tuper-dor
So far. I can't report on long term storage LOL, I have heard of people putting cedar blocks in, but using the beads, there shouldn't be any reason to have to line the conatiner with cedar, since the beads should keep the humidity levels stabilised. Now if you like the smell of cedar...

Re: Tight sealing Tuper-dor
Yeah, I agree. Most plastic containers seal so tightly that additional RH buffering from cedar is unnecessary. If it's the aesthetic of the look or fragrance you like, then that's one thing, but there's no pragmatic reason to use it, especially if you have beads.
