Humi sheet
I just got one sheet 65% and I am assuming that I need to charge it up. I have read that you can toss them into the humidor to charge them, but will that cause the humidity to drop in the box?

Re: Humi sheet
I would think that it would absorb the humidity until it could create a buffer. At that point it would keep the humidity constant.
I would suggest adding a little distilled water to it before putting it in. Aside from that i would think that you are good to go. |

Re: Humi sheet
I bought a 2 0z aluminum bead holder for the humidor and the sheet is for travel bags...I just want to charge it up before I go on trips and such. I would think that it would have a longer life if I keep it charged and not let it dry out.

Re: Humi sheet
Threw mine in humidor and seemed to do fine. No big spikes either way w/. Fixing to put it thru the paces here in a couple of days. Loading the new travel humi w/ sheet and +/- 15 cigars for vacation.
I love how thin that thing is. Doesn't occupy much room at all. If you're like me...I think you'll like it !! ![]()

Re: Humi sheet
The sheet will absorb a small amount of moisture from your humidor if you recharge the sheet that way but it is a very small amount. If you have concerns of this absorbtion being more that you want you can lightly spray the sheet with distilled water from a standard spray bottle. Get a new bottle from the store DO NOT reuse an old spray bottle.
The Humidi sheet act and functions exactly the same as the Humi tubes. As Joshua stated the Humidi sheets are made from the same substance as the beads.

Re: Humi sheet
I just got 2 of the 3 x 3 sheets to put in my cigar caddy. I just threw them in my humidor and had no fluctuations, but I also keep a shot glass with a small amount of distilled water.
