My Blazer too is hardly affected by that switch-the flame just gets fiercier as youve said. not that it really needs a change in height, i find it good as it stands.

I have noticed the same thing with my PB-207 also. The only time I turn it up is when it is windy. It seems (to me at least) that the more intense the flame, the more wind resistent it is. Best buy out there for a dependable torch. I just bought another on Bonggoy's GB.

Thanks for the info. I'm torn between the navy blue gloss, the silver gloss or the silver matte. I like the blue because its different. And then again, I like the gloss black too!!

X Tend all the way. I have 3...well 2 now i sold one the other day. I have the matt silver and love it. I just keep mine in a case or in a pocket with nothing else and it does fine about scratches. However they will scratch some over time as will anything you buy. Go with an Xtend you will be happy. RJT

Thanks for the input. I've been scanning the online stores and the eBay stores looking at the X-Tend prices...
What comes in the packaging?

Only the lighter comes in the package other than the normal BS like instructions and that sort of thing. Hope this helps, RJT

I have had my blazer, got to be about 7 or 8 years. For the amount that I use it, don't need to fill it very often, it's been very dependable – I've been very happy with it

Best of luck with your new lighter

Thanks! I'm a sucker when it comes to lighters!! ...would list them, but it would be way too many! Just picked up that $2.94 Wal-Mart Ronson torch(talked about in another thread) for the car....I like my Solo "Lazer Slim" torch with the red flame... Always thought the Blazer was cool. Since I read the reviews here I decided to pick one up (clearPB207)...so far I really enjoy it.
Now I'm waiting on my X-Tend!!

My x-tend is not numbered. ST Dupont's other models are numbered. If this is a change to the x-tend model then let us know.

Re: Blazer PB207 / STDupont X-Tend...

The adjustment screw seems to have a serial # on it.
I've had mine for 7 years now and it finally will not lite.
I've only used lava fuel in it so it's not clogged.
It makes the ping and the fuel hisses out when open but will not light.
I'm going to call their service dept tomorrow
