New 175 count Humidor

I just received my new Millionaire Humidor last night.

I ordered it from Thompson before finding this site so reading about them I was expecting a poorly made box.

To my suprise, it seems to be well made, looks good, weighs 30 lbs and has an accurate hygrometer. (checked it against my salt tested digital)

Another pleasant suprise was the humidity was already 65% and the free cigars seem to be pretty good. I added water and cigars and this morning the RH was 66%

Cost is $159

Thanks.

Are you talking about a wine cooler?

During the summer, my house is usually 70-75 deg but can go up to 90 deg.

Maybe I should at least get an air conditioner for my bed room and put the Humi in there during the summer.

I think oon is actually referring to one of these:

http://arfarfarf.com/review/images/coleman_68qt.jpg

It the step most of us take after weve got a couple of humis. its called a coolerdor and with a humidification device in it its just as good as a humidor but is a lot bigger and cheaper.

I would not worry too much about my humidor in the 70-75 degree range but if it would get to 90 degrees you have the makings for a tobacco beatle farm.

Re: New 175 count Humidor

I received another Thompson catalog last night and see that this humidor has dropped $40 in price and is now $119

When I get my 10% rebate check, I may buy another one of these.
