Who uses stick matches?

I use my torch lighter most of the time but there are a few occasions when I do use stick matches. (like when I've forgotten my lighter & left at home. Or when I haven't refilled it with fluid.)

Other times I just want the feel of nostalgia and go with the old way and use the match. Outdoors on a windy day is a pain in the arse.

Ain't it fun just experimenting?

I only use wood matches. A big box of the strike anywhere work great.

I got a nice collection of lighters, but lately been going with the stick matches.

I use whatever I have laying around.. usually my bic lighter for cigars, and if Im lighting a pipe, I use matches..

I started my cigar smoking using only stick matches. But after using a hell of a lot of matches to light 1 smoke, I switched to a table torch. Haven't used anything else since.

I prefer stick matches, but then again I'm still holding out for a nice lighter.

I have tried matches, and ended up burning myself and using about a dozen matches to get it going, I have recently bought a torch, that is nice, but I seam to have the best luck and the most control with my standard el cheapo orange, it’s got to be orange, Bick lighter.
