Ok just ordered a humi should I be kicking myself?

Hey brothers. I’ve made yet another rash decision on the purchase of my first Humi ( online) Of course I have read about the characteristics about humi’s what you should look for make sure to triple the original size at least [originally wanted to buy a 20 count and now I want even bigger than the 75 but my girl would have my stick in a cigar cutter if I spent more money I am sure you guys know what I mean] ( this time I am not even worried that I ordered it online) I just wanted to know what you guys thought about this deal and that maybe [please lord] maybe it’s a decent Humi and maybe I got a good deal. I purchased this one with the mahogany option. Tell me what you guys thing should I feel stupid right now? Thanks for any help http://www.bargainhumidors.com/bh/Pr...ductid=HUM-BH6

I think you did good.
I'd strongly consider a bead retrofit of the humidification device or simply purchase one of the items from this page:

Since it's your first humidor - you should be estatic right about now - pacing the floor back and forth waiting on it's arrival -

Take the time to season it properly - and congrats on your purchase!

Very nice but I have a feeling you will need to upgrade sooner than you think. Seems that what happens when you hang in the jungle.

The mahogany shows little scratches easily so be very carefull not to bump it against anything.

I've got a couple of Vicksburgs from Bargain Humidors and I am very satisfied with the product and service.

That's a really nice one. Should serve you well. Good hygrometer, too.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Most of your smokes are going to end up in a cooler, anyway.

Hell No. That'll do the job.

Buy more beads them you think you'll ever need. IOW's get a few pounds for the cooler you'll be putting together in a month or two. Personally I'd go with the 65% beads. That's a personal choice.

Then go here and follow it to the letter. I use pantyhose. credit to RGD

When you get the humidor you'll need to season it. More than likely it'll come with the manufactures directions, do not rush this part.. Let the wood absorb as much distilled water as the beads allow. This could take several days, then slowly introduce your gars..

Good luck with your new purchase it should bring you years of enjoyment. If you have any problems just ask.

Frank

Thats a great deal considering the hygrometer alone sells for $20-$30.

I'll vote 3rd on the beads. I started with a 50 count humi and with todays mail I've just about run out of room in my 3rd cooler.

Looks like you done real good with this purchase.

Take time, as mentioned, to season it well and filler-up with your favorites.

It'll be no time before you take a road-trip to Walmart to get yourself a good Coleman cooler.

Enjoy!

That's a total bro deal. Good find. That will work perfectly for now...

Let me rub my magic orb. *rubs frantically* I'm starting to see something. Ah, I see a coolerdor in your future. Oh, and what's that? Yes, debt. Lots and lots of debt. And I'm spent.
