Torch Lighter Problem

I have a Tiger Torch lighter.. not the most expensive.. but it has dual punch-cutters on the ass end .

My problem is, that it doesn't like to refill.. Perhaps I'm doing something incorrectly. All I do is insert the tip of the can of butane into the port that is made to be used to fill the lighter and then press down... correct?

Sorry if the wording sucks, brain cramp. I'm a little tired.

and if none of this works, they do claim to have a lifetime warranty, except that you do have to send them the lighter first and then they send you a replacement or refund. It may only apply to currently manufactured models though?
