Puck vs Heartfelt beads?
Any difference or are they essentially the same. Looking to dump the foam in a few humidors and replace them with beads or the equivalent. Anyone have any comparisons?

Beads do a better job regulating the humidity. The foam worked ok for me during the winter when the humidity was low, but during the summer the foam did a poor job.

If you want a drop-in replacement get the puck.
If money is an issue for you and/or you like to tinker then 1/2 lb of beads are a great way to go. HOWTO Retrofit here |

I have the beads in my big humi and in the two coolerdors I have the bigger puck, so I like both of them.

Same same.
Essentially its like asking what is better Sodium chloride or table salt. The puck is very easy to work with, esp since I can just throw it in my travel humi when I need to. I even like the bulk beads that come with the mesh bag, that is also very useful.

I have both and both work perfectly. The Puck in a small humidor and the Heartfelt beads in my coolerdor. Mark and David both provide great service and products.
