Question about sales

I was wondering how someone would sell an item to a fellow b/sotl? The item is an accessory that could be used for cigar smoking.

Please don't ding me. I am only asking a hypothetical question and have not listed or mentioned any item for sale.

. . . and - make sure that you set a price. Simply offering with no price is akin to bidding which is not allowed.

When I contacted one of the main Groillia's in a pm, about selling an item. They replied that I would have to wait until I could access the wtb/wts area. I was hoping to give access to the product to someone starting out. Just passing on what I was told.

I suggest just giving them away, and if its a super item, maybe word will spread and people will contact you.....

Remember it is always better to give then receive!!

Wish I could. Got a great deal but had to buy 3.

i would just stick around and enjoy the forums and then when the time comes put it up

I asked the very same question in my intro. I ended up hedging my biding bet on C-bid for a 100-150 count humidor and ended up winning two, oops. As I suspected all would advise to keep them both, but I have to keep this hobby small as it earitates the wife. I belive I was told it was 3 months or 100 posts, however, another user mentioned that he had been active for more then 3 months and had well over 100 posts but still could not access the buy/sell section. My plan is to stash the other humi away and hang out, get in some trades, and general bafoonary and see what happenes. I like the idea of earning access as I've been a part of plenty of differnt forums that get overrun by anoying noobs. Good luck.

nope. you won't be able to guess and I can't say anyway.
Might hold them till I can access wts but most likely will just sell locally.

I've gotten a few messages from people asking what the item is. I really don't want to get into it as that would probably be against policy. Item is going to be held till I have access to proper channel. All questions will be answered at that time.
