Newbie Question

So recently, a member was nice enough to BOMB me. Cough*RGD*Cough.

I didn't have a Humidor, so he sent me a water pillow. Now my question is, Does it look like I did it right?

Re: Newbie Question

looks good to me. I second the digi hygrometer question. I try to keep the maduro/dark ones away from the natural/light ones when they are out of the cello, but if this is not long term I don't think it matters. Just keep it out of sunlight and enjoy

Re: Newbie Question

Anything is going to be better than nothing. Just make sure you have a tight seal on your new humidor so that your realitive humidity levels remain constant. Once you get it, you can even put a flashlight inside, stand in a dark room, and make sure no light is escaping.

Also, I second mastershogun on seperating the maduros (dark) from the natural (light) cigars. I've read that a lot. Has to do with cigar marriage and such... look in to it, it's quite interesting.

Have fun and start reading!

Re: Newbie Question

Hi Cody,

I can't seem to load your pictures.

I sent you some sites to do some reading, in your first post, that might help you get set up.
You can get a digital hygrometer at the site where the Beads are listed and you can talk to the owner there and he should be able set you up with everything you need to get you going.

Best of luck.
