low temps ??
hey guys I am a newbie here, but I built a humi for a friend that is in his basement (I will post a pick of the humi) the humidity is fine but the temps range between 61 - 64 degrees never over 64. Anyone see any problems with the low temps ???
thanks |

i agree with IHT. i have my "long term storage" in a cooler in the basement now.
the intent of the "long term" cooler was not to be opened, but that isn't working out so well jimmy |

Re: low temps ??
I have to agree. For long term aging those temps are to die for!

Re: low temps ??
Again, I completely agree. I've always had great luck with temps a little lower than the prescribed 70 when storing longterm.

Re: low temps ??
I'm told low temps can slow aging but I think they'd need to be alot lower than that to cause any problems.

Re: low temps ??
yeah those temps are perfect. the aging process is slowed if it gets below 65 but id take slower aging with a beetlefree guarantee anyday.
