Salt Test....how long

I’ve been doing salt tests for years without problems. I just did the test on my 3 Radio Shack digitals and after 6 hrs they read 77% then after 12 hrs they read 78% . I always ran the test for 24 hrs, what is the correct amount of hours?

Re: Salt Test....how long

I just stuck a hygro in with a calibration pack and its going down???? It started at 72% and now is down 69% should be going up to 75.5% so we will see in 24 hours. I am thinking it takes awhile for the exchange.......

I would wait at least 24.

Re: Salt Test....how long

IMHO... If your bag or box or whatever is sealed tightly, 24 hours should do the trick. If the bag or box doesn't seal tightly, I'd give it about 6 months!
