The coleman xtremes are nice, but I don't know if you really need the extra insulation for a coolerdor. I like mine though. Walmart has them starting around $30.

got an igloo 52qt "holds ice for 5 days" type cooler-works great for me other than i ran out of room in about 7 months

I skipped the coolerdor and went straight for the vinotemp--I got so worried about high temps and beetles last summer that I lost sleep over it. Summer will be here again before you know it, so if the ambient temp in your house gets warmer than you want your cigars, the only way to get total peace of mind is with a wine coolidor. I've got an EdgeStar and I love it.

If you do decide to skip the cooler I know someone who can make you a cabinet way cheaper then the vino temp that will perform the same or better IMO.

As for a cooler coleman or igloo are quite nice......

I've used a 25L coolerdor(just some generic brand) that seals well my entire smoking "career." never had a problem at all, with either temp or RH.

Ironically, the one time I did buy a humi and properly season it, it didn't work and I went back to the coolador.
