best lighter out there. i'm on my 7th or 8th one i believe. i stopped crying over scratches, because i know i'm going to loose it or drop it off a 15 story balcony into a pool soon.

What makes these lighters so outstanding? Is there a significant difference in performance between it and the Colibri product?

Not to be short with you, but NO comparison in quality and durability. It is rare to GET a Colibri to last a year. It is rare NOT to have a Xtend last for years.

Wow, it looks really nice. I'm thinking about getting that exact model. That is the matte black version right? Sure there are the Glossy ones and the Duotones, but I hear they get scratches more easily than the matte ones. Plus, I think matte version will feel and look more cool and valuable.

I already got my Palio Burlwood today and soon I will order that sweet Xtend.

Yes, this is the matte black version. Reason i choose this one is just because for me this is the one that looks the best. I don't like the duotones, and i think after scratching it still looks better then if i'd scratch a glossy one.
