Where do you keep your humidor? Pix encouraged!

My 1st $20 Holt's humi has been stable at 68% since last night, so I decided to find a home for it. I think I'll get some comments about my choice near the fireplace, but I really don't use it all that often & when I do it's not a roaring fire. I will check for any major temp. change the next time I use it. Where do you keep yours?

I would probably move it from beside the fireplace.

I keep mine on my desk, where I can look at it every day, and open it up and smell it whenever I feel like it. It's also a conversation piece. The cheap moochador goes on the floor next to the desk, since it's not much to look at.

Amazing the stability of a computer data center for the "aging room". Room stays at a constant 69 degrees and 49% 24 hours a day. Not hard for some beads and a decent humi to keep it right at 69/69

No matter what I buy, I usually try and lay them down in the "aging room" for at least a month before moving to the home-idor (master bedroom closet).

There are two ways to post a pic... you can attach one saved on your computer to your post by clicking the "manage attachments" button below (scroll down after hitting 'reply'). The other way is to have a pic hosted somewhere like flickr, photobucket, etc. You then simply copy the picture location (right click on it) & paste it into the box that appears by clicking the mountain icon above your post. I realize my description is a little brief, I'd be happy to help with any more info.

Re: Where do you keep your humidor? Pix encouraged!

Nice!!! Some day I can see myself with a setup like that... I'm currently thinking about where I'm going to put my second humi & what will go in it. No decision yet, but if I have a little play money left over at the end of the month I have options.
