Calibration packet

My new digital hygo is adjustable and came with the calibrating packet. I followed the directions and zipped it up tightly last night. I realize it calls for 24 to 36 hours to adjust, but after spending the night in the bag, it is only at 65rh and not really moving much.

My question is if these kits are as good as the salt test and if the hygro really needs calibration?

As always, mucho gracias!!

Re: Calibration packet

I've recently used the calibration packets with the adjustable hygrometer and haven't had a problem. I did leave it in the recommended 36 hours and had to adjust the hygro. a couple of degrees.

I'd leave it in for at least 24 hours, adjust it per instructions, and then put it in again to make sure, and see what happens. My .

Re: Calibration packet

I left mine for over 24 hrs in the bag that comes with it and then inside another ziplock bag... I adjusted it and then repeated the process.
