Cigar Oasis XL and XL Plus Question

The fan in my XL sucks air from the top and blow the air out from the side vent, while my XL Plus is the other way around.
According to both model manuals, the side vent is the air inlet and the top is the air outlet. Thus, the XL Plus works as decribed, while the XL does not.

Can any owner of the XL confirm this? Is that the way it should work?

I'll check my XL when I get home - from memory I think the air comes out the top on mine. In the meantime, is yours wired or are you using the battery pack?

My XL does the same. In the top, out the side.
I'm with you, it's weird, I always thought it fired out the top as well, but many others have said it comes out the side...

Checked mine. It's the same as yours - in the top, out the side. The instructions say it's supposed to be in the side and out the top...

FWIW, I sent a note to Cigar Oasis mentioning what the manual for the XL says vs. what it actually does, and received this response:

"There is a misprint in the manual as our XL Plus operates differently from the XL as it need more circulation for a larger space. The correct operation of the XL is air in through the top and out the side. Sorry for any confusion."

You're welcome. After reading your question and checking my XL I was too curious to let it go. Kinda bugs me though, because where mine is in my cooler I think it would work better if the humidified air came out the top. Oh well, if the posts in threads about humidified air rising are correct it probably doesn't matter...
