Quick sealant solution

My 15ct otterbox I ordered (for senior week ) is not coming until monday so I'm going to have to take a small desktop with me that doesn't really seal all that well. What could I put on the lips of the cedar so make them a bit more snug?

heh...there are just so many 'wrong/bad/being slapped by your wife/gf/fiance' answers to this that I'll just say....

get a cheap azz Tupperware thing and take that with you. You wont risk your humidor getting banged up. The price you pay to get sealant for your humidor is probably more than the tupperware piece.

Re: Quick sealant solution

I like to use the Lock and Lock containers. They seal air and water tight. I have a couple for when I run out of space in my humidors. They are available at Target and Wal-Mart.

This one should hold 20 pretty easy.

Re: Quick sealant solution

Put you cigars in a ziplock baggie and stick the whole baggie in the humidor.

This way you dont have to worry about the seal at all.

Re: Quick sealant solution

For a long term solution with your humidor, rub the meeting edges with either beeswax or sailmakers wax (preferred). These waxes are quite tacky and will fill surface voids and seal one surface to the other. Beeswax is available in cake form in most crafts and sewing notions sections of stores. Sailmakers wax is generally available at stores that cater to boaters. As far as an immediate solution, here is a vote for tupperware. Hope this helps.

Lucky guy you are, in our state it's illegal to smoke cigars for senior week!
