Wondering...

I recently added the Xikar Enigma lighter to my collection of accessories. I have found that I have been smoking more often recently to make more opportunity to use my new addition.
Anyone else find themselves smoking more than the "norm" to play with their new gadets?

Re: Wondering...

I noticed that when I bought my Palio... I was also getting into a bunch of new cigars, so that may have helped a little

I agree 100%. When I get a new toy, I always have to try it out on several stogie.

Re: Wondering...

You know, on my last trip to Vegas, I bought a $2 bic since I didn't want to use matches all week.

It had a margarita on the front (useless information) and had the best and biggest soft flame I have ever seen. I actually wanted to smoke a cigar just so I could use that lighter as many times as possible. It think it worked better than all of my torches combined (blazer, xtend, cheapo)! Wasn't that great for making wrapper corrections, but for initial lighting, it worked awesome.

I need to get another one of those, that is for sure.

I have only used it once so I cannot really give you a great overall satisfaction report. One warning though is that unlike alot of torch lighters at least when new and full this lighter needs to be turned down because it will really throw out a serious cigar burner if put at a max setting. I like that though because to me I would think that as the lighter gets lower in butane I will have to adjust the setting which will remind me that it is time to fill up as I reach the max setting instead of just going dead. Also as it ages, when full if it needs to be at a higher setting I would be notified that I need to send it back because it is guaranteed by Xikar. Just an observation that may prove to not be true but I hope it does. Moon.
