I have finally decided to get beads and stop messing with those stupid crystal tubes! Now the question is, should I get the Puck with beads from cigarmony.com or the tube of beads from heartfeltindustries.com ? I have a 50 count desktop humi. Thanks!

Get the Puck if you want to stick it to the lid of your humidor.

Get the tube if you want to put it in your humidor like a cigar.

Its all a matter of preference and the room you want to have.

Me personally, I would go with the Puck !

i have a 75-100 ct and got the 65% 100 puck.. took about five days to stabilize but the thing works like a champ and has stayed at a perfect 65 for almost 2 weeks now.. great product!

get the puck for now.. then upgrade to a 200qt humi and get 1/2 lb woohoo! haha

The more you have, the better it is.
They will need less tending, and that is the point, isn't it?

Sorry to keep bumping but I always have more questions! Will the 100 puck hang down too low/take up too much space in my 50 count desktop? I can't tell you how much I appreciate this forum. It helped to find and enjoy this hobby cough cough addiction of mine. Thanks again.

since humidity risis, i'd go w/the tube so you could place it at the bottom of your humi-get one size up from what size the humi is

nah....skip all that....

get a 178qt cooler.
get 4 lbs of beads..place in several Tupperware containers
buy more sticks

I don't know if I've ever seen a cooler that big, but I do agree. Get a nice sized cooler for around $30 maybe a 1/2-1 pound of beads for $15-30 and you'll be way ahead of the game, and have storage that will last you for several months instead of a few weeks.

the cooler's a good idea, but it's nice to have a humi too to keep some handy-i keep sticks that i'll be smoking soon in my desktop, & use the cooler for boxes & overflow, 2nd one for aging
