Its nice, but I would go with a cooledor instead they are cheaper and better in the long run. It will run you abut 40-50 dollars with the cooler the beads and an oust fan to circulate the air with the fragrance oil put in.

Re: what do poeople think about this humidor?

Saright, glad to see you got it removed responsibly

As far as humi's go, you can never have enough storage space (thus is why my 1200 stick collection grew by 400 sticks recently and I've got two boxes sitting in ziploc bags with Humipacks in them). Personally, I like having multiples, because I have several for storage, and one or tow for grab-and-smokes. Mostly so I don't disturb the atmosphere too often in the one with a number of 1+ year old sticks.

I would look into a decent 300 or so count box for long term storage, and keep your 50 ct for everyday use. I like humidors like this model used with a couple tubes of beads:

THIS ONE

Disclaimer: I don't own that particular humidor, but CH is reputable for carrying a good product, and a model similar to that has been good to me.

Re: what do poeople think about this humidor?

Hi,
Thanks for all the replies I e-mailed the cigar company that was selling this humidor to see what was wrong with it, they told me "The reason this is such good value is the fact it is a paint finish rather than veneer. Saying that it has the essentials, Spanish cedar lining, hygrometer and a humidifier"

Will a paint finish make any difference to the humidor?

A finish will not matter.
