Please accept my apology

When shopping for my new humidor I laughed at all of you who suggested building an eyesore of a coolerador or buying the biggest humidor I could possibly afford. Why a person of such experience would suggest such a monstrosity is beyond me. Instead I bite my thumb at you and purchased a 25-50 count Inlay Capri humidor. Now after being introduced to the devil (cbid), NST, and Famouse Smoke Shop's B2/G1 5-Pack Frenzy I have 50+ cigars in route as I type this message. Now after only 4 days of ownership I'm in the market for a new humidor. In fact, if you want a good laugh my humidor isn't even seasoned yet. So please accept this message as my formal apology to all those who offered their wisdom but fell on deaf ears.

There's no problem that can't be fixed. Buy a cooler and use your teeny, weeny, itty, bitty humidor (but, I'll bet it's a good looking humidor) as a dry box or to keep the next week's smokes at the ready. Your grossly inadequate humidor will probably look better on your desk than a 120 quart cooler Everything works out. Easy problem---easy solution.

you're not the first, and won't be the last. Get a cooler or something bigger. Like a cabinet, a big one.

I just have a cooler but I liked the idea of having a smaller one that I keep for the upcoming smokes. Thanks for the tip.

Hehe this is kinda funny...I think this has happened to many of us here before. Might as well buy a cabinet and get ready for a nice little slope.

say what you will about the tenets of national socialism but at least its an ethos

had to follow suit with the other poster, but as to your problem. I had the same situation occur. The mother in law bought a 25 count burlwood glossy humi and needless to say, I went out the next week and bought my 75 qt. Coleman extreme and have never looked back. I use the tiny humi for "smokes on deck" and it has worked beautifully. People see it in the house resting atop my dvd case and its the show place. The stash is hidden upstairs, waiting, for me to abuse them at a later date. It works out nicely, trust me.

And after about a dozen of those you might want to hit the 200+ ones......

Re: Please accept my apology

you might as well start planning now in converting a guest room into a walk-in humi.
