For the most part ... yes. Just understand that some small flux in rh is normal and not a problem. It's the really dramatic long-term increases or decreases that can become a problem.

Lot's of information here in the jungle.

Re: To you feel the info in this link is accurate?

I think the answer is BOVEDA!!!

Just get 1000 of the little packets at $ 3.00 apiece.
Put them all over your large cabinet humidor.
Recharge them once a week.

Then you are all set.

They are great for travel humi's, small humidors. Their seasoning kit to me is a joke as you can just use distilled water in a cup for $ .65 and still have a lot of distilled left.

For larger applications most here use either...

Active humidification
or
Humidity Beads (Heartfelt)
or
A combination of both.

The key to stability is recovery time when you open your storage device. Beads or Boveda things alone will make the dip greater and longer than using active humidification. In a large cabinet humidor this may become impractical due to the amount of recharging you need to do. The active device brings the humidity back to normal 1000's of times faster than the static devices. In addition, not all cabinets are humidity tight enough for just the Boveda things or Beads. My display cabs and lockers kill their 30 lbs of beads in a week during the winter without any active humidification. Of course I like to open things up and look at my "pretties".

Coolers with Boveda things or beads are great for long term storage as they are air and basically humidity tight. If your cigars are at 65% when you put them in with the Boveda things or beads... they will stay that way for a long, long time. (Unless you open them)

Opening things up frequently or large volume cabinets opened up even a couple times a day, throws a wrench into any static devices alone.
