Any warnings on care for my crammed-full footlocker humidor?

My footlocker humidor, as you can see from these photos, is crammed full. (The left side bottom isn't quite filled to the top, but I've got 15 more coming next week that go there.) I figure I've got about 350 cigars in this small space including the trays.

I figure I'm at about 85% tobacco, 15% airspace. That's pretty stiff by any standard.

That sushi tray is filled with one bag of 65% beads which hasn't given me any mold. I spray them with about 3 sprays of distilled about once every 3 weeks. It's been a blessing; maintaining me at a steady 65%.

Are there any PARTICULAR things I need to watch out for with my humidor crammed this full?

Maybe rotate the cigars around to make sure the ones packed at the bottom are getting the same humidity as the ones on the top. Just a suggestion.

A full humi is a happy humi.
It is much harder to maintain humidity in an empty humi since air won't hold moisture well be itself. The sticks in there are doing their job helping regulate the humidity. The wood from the humidor can only hold so much moisture. Many people with coolers add cedar to them to hold the moisture since the plastic can't, but the sticks will do the same thing.
Don't worry about a thing

Re: Any warnings on care for my crammed-full footlocker humidor?

Right on! Thanks!

I smoke about 15 cigars a week, so it won't be so crammed for long.

I gotta smoke a bunch of the low-end ones first and let the higher-end ones age, especially since my tastes have gotten a lot more expensive lately.

I'll smoke a Baccarat for breakfast everyday for a few weeks and I'll have more room for better things.

On the other hand, I've got some of those Don Pepin Blues and other goodies like Montecristos stacked vertically that will be savored over a long period of time.

Yeah, yeah. You can't smoke the bad stuff and put off the good stuff because you never know when you'll get hit by a truck. I don't want to be thinking, on my death bed, "I wish I smoked those aged Montecristos!"

I was anal enough to stack the goodies vertically on the left and right sides of the bottom, so I've always got access to one of each of my favorites. Every few months, when worked through my top tray, I skim the top of my humidor bottom-storage to get one of each of my favorites and toss those in the top tray.

Rinse and repeat.

I'm smart like that.

Or get another one and fill that one as well.

Just keep the temp and humidity level and those cigars will be fine for the long haul.
