Smoking Hat
I have just bought a smoking hat.
It's exactly like the one in the picture. Now, my question is how should I wear it? - with the tassel at the back? -at the front? -to one side? Any thoughts?

I would recommend to the back or side, especially while lighting the cigar. Also if to the front it might tickle your nose and you might sneeze, and launch your smoke across the yard.

I recommend the tassel to the front, assuming it burns slow enough it will burst into flames as you light your cigar and could be used for some mid smoke touch-ups (also doubles as a facial/nostril hair removal tool).

It's like a graduation tassel. After you have completed your smoke you move it to the other side.
Funny, I was just reading about smoking hats and jackets the other day. They came about as a solution to preventing ones hair and clothes from smelling of smoke. True enough, a Fez was the original smoking hat according to the article I was reading. As the boys of Steely Dan would say... Im sorry but that is just too funny..Yeah, You better have some serious cigars to pull that one off at a herf..LOL.Then you can wear what ever you want but I dont think will go over well. Just being honest with ya bro. I never knew there was such a thang, Goes to show that you can learn something new everyday, even with cigars.
