Humi/Torch Together?

Hello all,

As a newbie I was wondering if it is okay to store my torch lighter in my humi? One of my humi's is a 20 count I leave next to my chair in the living room, I dont want to lose the lighter so I thought it might be a good idea to keep everything together. Any help would be great. Thanks and Happy Sunday!

Nick

I don't see why not...but why not pick up a cigar box to keep on the top of the humi and keep your cutter, lighter, ect there?

Re: Humi/Torch Together?

Nothing wrong with keeping the lighter in the humi, but a 20-ct gets full of cigars pretty quick, and gear replicates (apparently by fission) almost as fast as humidors.

Several 75-150s have drawers in the bottoms, that are NOT part of the humidor box, they're for gear. But a "75" doesn't fit by "My Chair" or on the desk, etc.

So I've picked up several carved wooden candy/nut bowls (oblong, oval, or leaf-shaped take less space than round), and keep the gear in them, by My Chair, kitchen table, desk, can. Most look almost as good as a humi, and all at least look like they Belong There. As with the writing/reading racks I have in those places, the gear doesn't get knocked down or under stuff, and is identifiable by touch mostly when your attention's elsewhere.

Check out this box it has a drawer for your accessories and holds 100+ cigars for under $90. That 20 count will fill up fast. http://www.cigartoyz.com/_e/LARGE_HU...0MS/Solana.htm
