humi question
after seasoning my humidor... i placed all of my stogies inside and it has been about 2 weeks of constant 72% RH. now it is starting to drop... do i just soak my humidifier in distilled water for 30 mins and put it back in or what???

Why would you soak it again? What humidity are you trying to maintain? Most of us keep it at 65%, but when adding sticks it can spike but it will settle? Are you using beads? or 50/50 credo? or Cigar Oasis? I would say you are just perfect and settling into a good rh level.

Keep your humidifier wet, and constantly monitor the RH level. Over time you will determine just exactly how much you need to wet the sponge to get the level where you like it.

i'd wait till it drops below the 70% you're aiming for b4 adding more solution-using PG solution, i only added it every 5th or 6th refill, used distilled water the other times-i'm assuming you calibrated your hygro-once you find your preferred level of RH, get the beads that match

65/65 is optimal in my opinion.
Your cigars are probably sucking up some of the humidity and its dropping a bit. Don't worry, enjoy your cigars for now.
