Re: xikar executive

yea i have the same problem. not sure what it is, but it doesn't happen (or hasn't yet) when I am using the vector 5x fuel. it says on the literature though not to use it for more than thirty seconds at a time.

Yep, I am not too fond of mine. I would rather use my $4 Ronson. The Ronson is more reliable, better range of flame intensity and has a bigger tank.

Re: xikar executive

Has anyone experienced that the fuel seems to run out quickly?

I have an Xikar Genesis (a single flame like the Executive) and the fuel seems to run out much more quickly than the Dupont Xtend. Maybe I am not fully filling the Genesis or maybe it has a smaller volume to hold fuel.

Re: xikar executive

I love mine, and I definitely love the simple fact that if anything goes wrong with it, I can just bring it into any B&M that sells them and get it replaced on the spot. Haven't had any problems yet though P
