Here is a picture of mine:

It is similar to what you are looking at and I know others on the board have what you are looking at. Mine does have the outlets built in. These are all made in China. I like mine but they are far from perfect. When it arrives it will not hold humidity well. I had to add weatherstripping and I had to seal the outlet with silicone and air it out for a long time before I could start using the humi. Now it seems to work fine, it was more work than a 3k humi, but it was a lot cheaper as well. One more thing is that you have to be very careful with placement because of the glass door, the sun will cook all of your smokes.

Most likely, but....maybe he's making his own flavored cigars? It could be Turkey Hill Peach Iced Tea?

Re: Cabinet humidor buying experiences?

It's an old picture and I used to keep my distilled water jug in there to take up negative space. Now I am completely full and considering a cooler so the jug is long gone.

Damn this slope.

Also, FWIW I did win mine on cbid. It was about the 5th one I bid on. I got lucky and got it very cheap. Set yourself a price point including delivery and be patient, it will happen and the money you save you can use on sticks to fill it.

Re: Cabinet humidor buying experiences?

I got a "tower of power" cabinet model. The problem is that it is not air tight. I have had to put clamps on the door to seal it up. What are you going to do when it would cost soo much to send it back? Other than that it's great.

Cost me nothing to get my Aristocrat delivered where I wanted it. The delivery guy wanted to see so bad he stuck around while I unpacked it.

Re: Cabinet humidor buying experiences?

these units are cheap and made in china. from my experience the oasis is way to small to keep the humidity at a controlled level. Bob makes a nice humi but mine seams to run alot poor seals and made of cheep mdf plywood. If I were to buy another humidor I would spend the money and hire Arlin Liss. he is the best but not cheap.

It seems like a bargain, almost too much of a bargain. I've looked at the aristocrats, but couldn't settle on a humidor under $3000. I can have the other humidor and five boxes of top shelf cigars for that price. Any other suggestions would be helpful. I'm sure I'll get an aristo at some point, but for now I think the Humidor will be the only thing in the room. Plus I would want the aristo to match whatever I end up putting in my smoking room.

Re: Cabinet humidor buying experiences?

Purchased mine from cheaphumidors.com. It was $599.99 with $200 for shipping. You can get the Cigar Oasis II for an additional $99.00.

Have had the cab for over a year now and am very satisfied. It holds humidity very well and the drawers are extremely useful.

Re: Cabinet humidor buying experiences?

Here is my exact model. Couldn't be more happy with this purchase, and this is built to last a lifetime. Just make sure you get more than double the space you think you might need. I have this boy almost 3/4 full and I am now looking to upgrade to the BIG BOY with cooling. Kind of glad I lost the bids on the devil site and went for this

Must be the trucking company that Bob uses. He advises an little "consideration" will help get the Aristocrat where it needs to be.

Re: Cabinet humidor buying experiences?

I purchased my Montegue from Tampa Humidor when they had $0.01 shipping on all items. They have great service and comparable pricing, but you can't beat $0.01 shipping. It looks like about 2x a year they have close to free shipping deals on all their products, but be patient and wait for a deal. I had a similar incident with the lift gate service from the delivery company, but I talked my way out of the charge
