Da Vinci Cigar Scissors

I had never tried cigar scissors. I saw these from an Ebay seller for only $2.50 each! (Original list price 49.95 or so!) What a deal!!! They look kind of cool too. Cheap, so I ordered 10.

I tried them out on 2 cigars right when I got them. I cut fast, SNIP! Just as I was told to do in order not to smash the cigar and get a nasty cut.

But, alas, you get what you pay for. The cut was somewhat ragged to say the least. It is a usable cut but not what I'm accustomed to. My Xikar and Havana cutters routinely give me a very clean cut. I can't recommend the DaVinci scissors, but I only paid $2.50 each (free shipping).

Those look really nice.

So far every cutter I have bought never compared to some unbranded ones I got from a discount cigarette store. However I just bought a xikar xi2 I hope it's great.

Re: Da Vinci Cigar Scissors

I stick with my havana cutter and my xikar. I love both of those cutters. Like you said, always a good clean cut.

They look nice, but a little blunt. Maybe they need sharpening.

Re: Da Vinci Cigar Scissors

Why did you order 10 of them? Well, if nothing more, they do look purdy.
