That's a great idea that I never thought of , if I go on a trip I can throw a pack or two in my 30ct c-caddy and I should be good for the length of the trip , other than that I find that they are fine for small humidors but I have 3 big ones on the go and that can get costly at their current price ?

They can be recharged. I have 2 in my humidor. When those 2 become hard and dry I take them out and put them in a tupperware container that also has a bowl of distilled water. The water will recharge the packet through the humidity in the container. I then replace the 2 that where just in my humidor with the 2 that I previously put in the container for recharge for the last rotation. I have been doing this for 2 years and I stay at a constant 65% rh.

They can definately be refilled and say so.
My daily smokes I never take out of the original boxes, and I have about six of them. Each of them I have a drymistat and a pillow in it.
keeps my churchills just the way I like them, and I never have to put into a humidor.

In fact If I only smoked say two brands of cigars, I dont think I would ever need a humidor.

By putting these in my boxes, I am saving space of about 300 cigars. I also keep a caliber 3 in each one. (I have about 24 of them at this point. LOL).

Thats why I think I want to eventually get a cabinet humidor, but the room is the problem. I am thinking about throwing clothes away and put the cabinet in half of the closet. Probably a good place for a humidor.

Much regards Jerry
