Re: Ronson JetLite Torch Lighter

Funny, the only place I can find them is at a CVS in Missouri and they are 4.95 each. On the Kansas side, where I live, the CVS doesn't carry them and neither does the Wal-Mart. I haven't had a chance to go to a Wal-Mart on the Missouri side yet but when I do I'll look around for them.
I still can't complain; they're a good price and I have 5 stashed around in my house and vehicles and have given away 6 to other BOLT. No complaints yet and I really don't expect there will be.

Re: Ronson JetLite Torch Lighter

I keep a Thundra lighter (awesome table lighter, btw) at home, but love the Ronson as my travel lighter. Would recommend it to anyone over a more expensive lighter, unless they are trying to impress their cigar with a nice name.

Re: Ronson JetLite Torch Lighter

Just bought another one at wal-mart for $3 and bought the ronson butane because I'm running low and its cheap, but damn that stuff REAKS! Makes me sick when I smell it, anyone a bit worried about that smell getting into your cigar?

I also bought another cheapie lighter, I think I'll like this one better because it won't get hot to the touch when you're like me and take your time toasting & lighting your cigar that sucker will melt your finger print off.

That's my only complaint with the Ronson.

This is called a Elite Brand lighter. Were right next to the Ronson's at cvs.
Got 3 of them. Use one of them, works pretty good so far.

Re: Ronson JetLite Torch Lighter

My search is FINALLY over. I've looked everywhere for these things. Today I stopped at a local CVS and behind the counter, there sat four of them!!! Price $4.59. The girl behind the counter said they've had these four Ronson lighters forever. Nobody wants them. They were seriously dusty. Guess they are going to have to restock now! At least I've found my supplier.

What I find most odd about these lighters is that on the package, it mentions that they are great for "Sailing". How bizarre is that? What made them choose "Sailing" out of all the millions of activities in which you could use a lighter? Nothing against sailing, it just strikes me as very strange.

Re: Ronson JetLite Torch Lighter

Go to the tobacco checkout at your local wal-mart, found about 5 different styles for I think $3.

Went to every Walmart within 30 miles of the house. No Ronsons at any WalMarts around here. Guess they don't all carry them, as someone else had in this thread mentioned.

I hate this thread. I want one even though my vector torch has been going strong for 4 months.

No stores have them near me, and new york, is not big on walmarts downstate, but they have a small one in white plains. I will have to make the trip, as I got the jonzes to acquire on now. LOL

Much regards Jerry

Re: Ronson JetLite Torch Lighter

Although I've found these lighters at Rite Aid a few months back they don't stock up on them very often. I've checked the local Walmart for the last few months and never saw the lighters. But today they had about a dozen lighters for $2.49 each (two bucks off the Rite Aid price). I picked up four of the "black" ones as the ones I bought from Rite Aid were all silver.

So, to all you who've searched your Walmarts in vain there's still hope.
