Ronson JetLite Torch Lighter

Any idea what the price is at Rite Aid? I went to 3 Walmarts and not one had then. CVS had them but they were close to 5 bucks still a good deal but the $3 Walmart has them for even better.

The prices I've purchased them at:
Rite Aid - $4.49
Wallmart - $2.49

Until I they became available at Walmart I had no qualms buying them at Rite Aid. Still a good price for a great lighter, and cheaper than the price at the Ronson store.

I couldn't find 'em either. I tried Walgreens and CVS. I gave up and bought a Xikar Executive.

If I didn't allready have a great 3 dollar lighter I got at Princess Auto this summer, I would be prowling my WalMarts looking for the Ronson. With 14 pages of banter about it, how can you go wrong????

I didn't want it to be lonely on the trip.

My first ronson was sent to me by another great BOTL so I am just PIF. Since then I have found a couple of places that has them around me so I have picked more up. Haven't had to use any of the ones I bought since the first one works great.

I had recently bought two ronson jetlites. The first one will not light. No matter how many times i push it it will not light. The second one keeps releasing butane even after i release the button. I bought a blazer Evo and it lights on the first or second push. Is that how the ronsons are supposed to be? Would it be worth me returning them and trying two differant one? Thank you.

I got a bad feeling that the supply of lighters that you bought at whatever store you got them from was probably a bad stock. I have 12 Ronsons and each one works to perfection because I tried them all when I bought mine. I am still on my first Ronson and they are a great lighter. Take those two back where you bought them and exchange them and try them before you leave the store to see if they work. I hope you change your mind on these,,,I'd sell the damn things if I didn't love retirement so much.

I haven't been around any forums for some time due to buying a house so when I logged in tonight and saw the Ronson at the top of the threads I now surprised anyone buys any other lighter from the look of this thread.

And I apologize to anyone in the Lancaster PA area, I bought all the Ronsons for my customers.

I too have yet to see one in the city of Houston. I have about 5 different wal-marts I frequent and have checked them all. I am grateful that fine botl have supplied me with two.

I have a few of the Ronson's as well and the first and only one I have opened so far has worked like a charm!

I said it earlier in this thread, but if you can't find them at Walmart or they are sold out, ask CVS or Rite-Aid to price match the Walmart price! I did this at Rite-Aid before I found them at a local Walmart and they price matched with no problem. I simply told them the price and they typed it in. I'm sure it all depends on your store and the employee, but it's worth a shot!
