If you need help locating, PM me and I can see if my local WM still has them. Don't know why they wouldn't though.

Re: Ronson JetLite Torch Lighter

I've had one for about three years now. Paid seven bucks for it.

It has NEVER failed me. The lid's getting a little loose, but I can live with that. And it burns anything I put inside it.

WINNER

Got 4 of these today. $2.99 at Walmart. Already gave two away. Look forward to using one tonight.

These are great torch lighters. Of course they're only a single jet, but for $2.94 you can't beat them.

Perfect for smaller ring gague cigars and touch-ups. I own 5 or 6 of them and love 'em.

Re: Ronson JetLite Torch Lighter

I just purchased the remaining two from my local Rite Aid. Do these come with butane already or do I need to buy it seperately? I'm already home so if it comes with none, I can go tomorrow, but if it's supposed to, I know to return it than.

Was thinking about purchasing one of the more expensive lighters but I saw this thread and gave the Ronson a try. Can't beat $3.

Re: Ronson JetLite Torch Lighter

I recently replaced my old standby with a Xicar lighter and it was a bit of a joke. Works when it's 100% full, then just makes clicking noises.

The Ronson Bob gave me on the other hand fires up every time like a champ.

WTG Bob and thanks again for a lighter that actually lights my cigars.

Funny thing is on the third refill my Ronson gave up the ghost on me. But my Xikar I've had for about a year has never given me a problem.

You get what you pay for and for three bucks you can't beat them. I own several and always have two with me. Aubuchon Hardware has them for $4.

Found them at my local WalMart couple weeks ago. Picked up four of them. So far the first one is working great. Gave one to my dad, he had a Nibo that was always giving him problems.

Steve, I have a replacement for you.

Ronson's have a 1 yr warranty. The back of the package says just purge the lighter and send in for a replacement. No receipt needed.

Re: Ronson JetLite Torch Lighter

My local Walmart doesn't carry them...I picked up mine in Wichita a year or so ago. I love the dang thing & I have maybe a coupla dozen torches laying around. I have a handful that actually work (I've got one of those fancy Colibris with the cutter that flips out...what a piece of junk).

I've carried this one around in my pocket so much that the metal plating is beginning to wear off the outside in places. It looks like copper under there. If so, they should release one without the metal plating...I think a copper colored Ronson would appeal to me.

Thumbs up Re: Ronson JetLite Torch Lighter

Aloha Gorillas,

I literally live on a deserted island where its (almost) impossible to find anything, let alone specialty stuff like lighters.

Any chance one of you guys would be willing to buy one for me on your next trip to Wallyworld and drop it in an envelope for me?

I would be SUPER DUPER appreciative!!!!

PM me, or email me!

Mahalo,

~Solly

I'll probably have to buy my next one online. You can go to www.ronsonstore.com & click on the jetlite tab. I think they are selling them for $5.50 right now.

Good luck.
