I've had my Nibo for 6 months with no problems - once I purged it completely and started using premium butane. I carry a Ronson Jetlite in my herf box, just in case a BOTL needs a lighter. I've given 3 or 4 away at events or Herfs. The only problem is the Nibo triple uses butane like a F-16 on afterburner!
I plan on ordering a "good" Xikar down the road, and I've been also planning on buying a few propane inserts to convert my Zippos. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Re: Nibo Triple Jet Lighter (with video)
This Nibo works for me.
My first lighter was a Prometeus which cost me 5 years ago around $100. I had to send it back to their shop in CA. and waited 2 weeks. After it broke the second time I bought the basic NIBO tri-jet torch. It was every bit as good as any lighter I ever had. Other then filling and adjusting the flame it has no other maintenence. I just threw it away last night after 2 years of contineous service. I then remembered that I had another Nibo just like it in my desk drawer still in the box brand new. I bought it several years ago as back up. Great bang for the buck. Only cost me $12 each. Really lights the big ones! |
