Hey Kurt, if you can still get more of these for around 10 bucks or so, send me a pm (I'd love to get one or two more at that price).

Product Review Update - Year 1.5

I was perusing the contents of my humidor the other day and thought about the unsung hero of cigar storage - the hygrometer. I then reflected on all the cigar accessory acquisitions I've made since getting into the hobby and this particular one stood out.

For anyone in need of an inexpensive but quality hygrometer... this is the product. I've had this for over 1.5 years now and have yet to even put a battery into it. Has been very accurate and because of the compact size, its great for bringing along in a travel humidor.

Just thought I'd share this because I know how it felt during the initial gearing up phase most people go through.

Your so right Jeff, we've had ours in our 32 count otterbox for a couple of years and its never had the battery changed either. Excellent product. If you go a couple of years without even mentioning it, must be pretty good eh?

Does anyone know of any other sites that sell these besides littlehavanacigars.com? They've been constantly out of stock, and another site I found it on was selling it for $40.

Re: humiGAUGE™ "Perfecto" Hygrometer

Just picked up several off of ebay a couple of months ago. The littlehavana site says they are the only one who sells the original and that everything else is a copy. The ones I got did not have the packaging that littlehavana says it should have, but physically the hygro looks identical (usually a copy has some little dimensional difference), and looks of reasonable quality. Seems no worse than all the other cheap digi's and a lot more convenient shape.

FYI: Famous has a very similar model. I have not used it, so I can't comment on its quality:

The one I bought from Ebay takes a LR44 or AG13 battery. I hope that helps.

Link to Little Havana @ Famous
The model they sell at famous is just like the one I have. It works great so far, but I've only had it a week or so, my experience is limited. Great so far though.
