Can anyone recomend a good v cutter?

Is there such a beast made like the Palio that will stay sharp and last a lifetime?

Most I've seen are the cheap $3-6 variety.

Re: Can anyone recomend a good v cutter?

I have not seen any quality pocket v cutters. There are some very nice table top v cutters ranging in price from around $100 and up.

Re: Can anyone recomend a good v cutter?

I agree that the table top v-cutters are the best but as mentioned they're pricey. I have one of the these pocket v-cutters and it works very well, especially for the price.

www.bostoncigarcutter.com is a good place as any to see what they have. I bought a V cutter about 10 years ago and it is as sharp as the day I got it but it comes with a cost.

have had good luck with a Wolf. Made from Soligen steel for under $10. Whatever you do, don't get the cheapo with the plastic blade.

Re: Can anyone recomend a good v cutter?

I have a number of the cheap plastic ones and have looked myself for something with more quality. Xikar makes one that usually goes for $10-$15. I haven't purchased one yet though.

Yep, that would be the same one but call Boston cutter for pricing. I know they are a bit high but trust me, I have had this for 10 years and I use it everyday and it works great.

Re: Can anyone recomend a good v cutter?

Yeah, this cutter is absolutely aweseome! It is a little tough to carry around your pocket, though. I have also seen this type break once or twice which is amazing because it looks so darn strong. Of course, there is some serious accessory abuse that takes place in a lot of lounges.

I hear you brother. I made the mistake of talking about the Palio I got in front of my wife. Well, we ended up going purse shopping for her.
