Clints plastic box (belt humidor)
Well, I've had some Clints in these for a while, so I decided to make a mini-review.
These are the very inexpensive plastic boxes Clints sells on their website. I bought one with my last 25-pack...they sent me a freebie one as well as two extra cigars.
It's a box 4.25" h x 1.25" d x 3.25" w, made of black plastic with white streaks, has a belt clip in back, and a Clints logo sticker on front, and their website and 800# on a stick on top.
Inside you will fine a tiny Boveda (69%, the website sells them for a buck each) and a note stating that if you leave this in the box, you can use it as a portable humidor for your Clints (this box holds 10 Clints). It can fit with the cigars, or in the second hole in the box which I assume is for a slim type lighter..my Ronson is too big.
Ater the month in storage, the Boveda pack seems a bit crunchy so I assume they will typically last a month to month and a half. The cigars were kept pretty well, but they did lose some of the flavoring they dip onto the head of the cigar.
pros: convenient, very affordable, reasonably attractive, keeps cigars well smokable.
cons: box is a bit large, hard to fit lighters any bigger than a Bic in it (time to find a slim jet).
