My new 6 bottle Haier wine cooler

I know, this little unit might seem like small potatoes to you guys that have B&M sized coolers, but it fits my needs quite well. I've gone through two Chambrers which pretty much suck. They're noisy and they don't seem to last. They cannot be serviced either since they're completely sealed. The fan cannot be accessed to clean it.

The Haier. What can I say. It's a fine unit. Very well built. Very quiet, and they they hold temp as they should. I set it at 69 degrees, and it sits there. I have my small humidor plus many loose cigars. It has stayed right at 69 degrees and 69% humidity. My Chambrers never could achieve this consistancy.

This is not really a review, but rather an observation. If anyone is looking for a smallish cooler that doesn't take up too much space, you might want to look into this one. I have had it only a week so I can't speak of longterm reliabllity, but so far, so good.

I purchased it from provantage.com for 68 bucks, and I'm very pleased with it.

When the time comes if it needs oiling or service, the fan assembly can be reached. This is a good thing.

Dimensions about 22 in deep x 11 in wide x 17 in high.

I hope this one lasts...I really am impressed so far. It runs as quiet as a computer fan. This was important to me. Knock on wood.

Re: My new 6 bottle Haier wine cooler

And since I'm now two weeks removed from a nasty wisdom tooth extraction, I'm chompin at the bit to light one up. It's comforting to know that my stash is handling the hiatus better than I am. Maybe tomorrow..
